Anyone who has symptoms of coronavirus can request a test via https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/ or 119 if you have no internet access. It is important that tests are taken within the first 5 days of symptoms as this is when they are most effective.

Wales:

We have created a FREE practical CovidSafe workbook*. It contains information on Covid-19 and practical steps to help you plan to re-open your business safely and in a way that contributes to both consumer and employee confidence.

The workbook contains guidance on suitable controls you can adopt and space to document your own bespoke controls. We have also included useful documents and forms such as a template health declaration form to use when an employee returns to work. You should do a telephone interview with the employee, complete the record and when the employee is physically back on the premises - they need to sign the form before they start work and then file it or upload it in their document storage on the MCP portal under records!

Access your CovidSafe Workbook and Risk Assessment here

If you don't have an MCP account, its quick, easy and free to sign up. On sign up you gain access to lots of free guidance in our resources hub including the workbook.
