A qualified food safety expert with over 25 years’ technical experience in both the wholesale and retail food sectors. Primary areas of expertise include supporting business in the supply chain to meet the standard for BRCGS , SALSA and the Food Standards Agency (FSA) as well as local authorities.

Fidelma assists both small and medium sized businesses to ensure they are fully compliant with food safety legislation and to achieve the specific accreditations they require for their sector within the industry. She has an excellent track record in not only helping business owners reach the food safety standards they aspire to but also provides ongoing guidance to help the business grow by increasing market share.

She is trained in level 4 HACCP and a certificated lead auditor with experience in developing HACCP systems, quality systems, training sessions, auditing programmes, troubleshooting and pioneering culture change.

Qualified by the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST) to mentor and audit, as well as Secretary of the IFST special interest group in food safety.
